六上Unit 2What a day! (Period 2)

一、Teaching contents:

 Sound time, song time & cartoon time

二、Teaching aims:

1、能唱歌曲Rain, rain, go away

2、能在自主阅读的基础上,朗读、表演Cartoon time中的故事;提高自主提问、合作交流、解决问题的能力

3、能正确读出字母组合ear的发音,并能体会语句韵脚。

4、了解不规则动词过去式构成及其读音,能一般过去式陈述句描述图片或过去发生的事。

    5、在听、说、读、写活动中,提高英语日记的语言积累与表达能力。

三、Teaching focal points:

1在自主阅读的基础上,朗读、表演Cartoon time中的故事,提高自主提问、合作交流、解决问题的能力

2能正确读出字母组合ear的发音。

3了解不规则动词过去式构成及其读音,能一般过去式陈述句描述图片或过去发生的事。

1、自主阅读过程中能根据上下文猜测词义,提高阅读能力。

Step1. Warm up

Step 2. Cartoon time

1. Watch and answer

T:They were sad.How about Bobby?What happened to Bobby?

Teach:lose-lost   find-found

2. Fill in the blanks

Teach:climb-climbed  climb up  hold onto

3. Lets read after the tape

4. Finish the diaries.

5. Lets think

1) What do you think of Sam?

2) Lets remember:

Two heads are better than one.

In life,we should help each other.

Step 3. Song time

At last,Bobby found his kite,so he was happy.How about this boy Johnny?

1. Look and guess.

T: How about his day? What day did he have?You can guess.

2.Enjoy the song

T: Lets listen to his singing.

T: Was it a good day for Johnny? Why?

S1: Because it was a rainy day. He wanted to play.

3.Learn to sing.

(1)学生自读歌词,提出生词,教师作解答。

(2) Read together.

(3) Listen to the song.

(4) Sing together.

Step 4. Sound time

1. T: Look at this picture. What were they doing? What day did they have?

2. T: What did the teacher say?

3. Read and find the words with “ear”. Read correctly.

4. Read after the tape.

5. Give more words with “ear”. Try to read the words.

6. Exercise: Put the words into the correct baskets.

1. Read and act out the dialogue of cartoon time

教学反思:

传统的语音教学是在教师领读之后,给学生讲解发音方法,讲舌位、齿位等,教师费力、费时.学生却云里雾里,使得本就枯燥的音标更加乏味了。如果尝试把语音教学内容改编成歌曲、口诀,则是一种很好的辅导方法,因为歌曲、口诀能加深记忆,而且学生可以通过好的节奏和旋律把学到的知识和歌词一块儿记住。童谣、儿歌读起来朗朗上口,文字简练,通俗易懂,易读,节奏感强,有韵味。既能充分调动学生学习语音的兴趣积极性,也让学生在美的熏陶中获取了英语语感。同时,教学过程中还可以采用辅助现代化的视听手段和各种多媒体——实物、图片、光盘、动画等直观教具,这些都能对培养学生学习语音的兴趣起到积极辅助作用。

总之,语音教学的好坏直接关系着英语教学的成败。作为英语教师,要始终不断地提高自身教学素养,积极地进行教学研究,努力让学生训练出良好的语音语调,他们为进一步学习英语打下坚实的基础。
