一、教学内容 Cartoon time, Culture time,Sound time
二、教学目标
1、阅读并理解Cartoon time的内容,学会表演,明白Cartoon time 的幽默之处。
在前两课的基础上会正确并熟练对比以前和过去, 感受个人的成长和社会的进步。
2.并体会字母组合er在单词中的发音;
3.生了解人类的两项重大发明并延伸中国古代的四大发明及其他的发明。
三、教学重点
1、阅读并了解相关的Culture time;
2、在前两课的基础上会正确并熟练对比以前和过去;
3、让学生了解人类的重大发明,激发学生的求知和远大理想。
四、教学难点
能生动朗读并表演cartoon time

六、 教学过程
Step1:Warming-up
Watch the video;
Let’s recall the past.
Revision
a、Introduce myself. 板书:…years ago, I … Now I …
b、Introduce themselves.
c、Introduce Clothes 、Food、House and Transportation about the past and the present.
Step2: Presentation
Sound time
①T: Look, what’s this?
S1: It’s a photo.
T: Who are they?
S: They are Bobby, his mother and his cousin.
T: Yes! Do you know what does Bobby’s mother do?
S:(Guess!)
T: Ha ha, let’s listen ,then you can find the answer. (Sound time)
T: What does Bobby’s mother do?
S1: She’s a teacher.
T: Yes, his mother is a teacher.(重读mother teacher)
T: She works hard every day.
T: And what about his cousin?
S1:He’s a worker.
T: Yes, his cousin is a worker. (重读worker)
T: (出示表哥旅行照片) Now he’s on holiday.(教on holiday)
T: Now, let’s read after the computer.(跟着录音读全文)
(男女生读,齐读)
②T: (红色mother teacher worker) What can you find?
S1:er is pronounced
T: Wonderful! Can you read them?
S1:该生领读三个单词,其余学生跟读
出示Tips:以字母组合er结尾的单词大部分发,除了her。
T: Can you find some other words? (sister father brother summer winter)
(每个齐读两遍)
Culture time
T: You know, Bobby’s cousin is on holiday. Look, where is he now?
S1: He’s in the Shanghai Museum.
T: There are some pictures on the wall.( Culture time图片)
T:This is an aeroplane.(教aeroplane)
T: And this is a……
S1: Train.
T: Yes!
T: Who invented the aeroplane and the train? (教invent)
Please read the books by yourselves!
T: The Americans invented the aeroplane. The British invented the train.
T: Do you know the names of the American inventors? (Wright brothers) (资料介绍)
T: And the British inventor’s name is ……(George Stephenson)
T:And our China is even greater. There are four Great Inventions in Ancient China
They are Papermaking(造纸术)、Compass (指南针)、Gunpowder(火药)and Printing(印刷术).
T: Do you know some other inventions? (拓展)
情感教育:Great inventions have changed our life!
Cartoon time
①T:Now, Bobby’s cousin is in Bobby’s school. What is Bobby doing now?
S1: He is having a lesson.
T: Yes, he’s having an English lesson. Let’s watch the cartoon!(看动画)
②T: Look at the two pictures ,Miss Fox…(两张图片对比,选择 gets happy/sad/angry)
T: Why does Miss Fox get angry? How do you know that? (自读全文,划出相关句子)
S:(P1) Bobby is looking out of the window. (教look out of the window)
(P2) Bobby is still looking out of the window.
(T:Guess, what is Bobby looking at?)
(P3) Bobby and Sam are talking.(跟读,齐读)
(T:Guess, what are they talking about?)
③T: Are they good students?
S: No.
情感教育:Listen carefully in class, we will know a lot and be a useful person!
(课堂上认真听讲,我们将知道很多知识,成为一个有用的人!)
④T: What do you think of Miss Fox? Miss Fox is a _____ teacher.
(Little detective—带着问题跟读全文,从狐狸老师的话语内容和语音语调得出结论。)
T: Miss Fox is a good/ kind /patient teacher.(找出相关句子)
T: So, what would Miss Fox say then?
⑤T: It’s time for reading!(先全班跟读,然后每句话找两三个人模仿读)
⑥T: Oh, it’s show time. Let’s read in roles. You can work in groups.(注意语音语调哦!)

2 Surf the Internet and find out the information about the first train.
