五上 U7 At the weekends(第二课时)教学设计

U7 At weekends(Grammar time& Fun time)

 

常州市三河口小学    张芸

一、教学目标

    1.能听懂,会说,认读,会写句型:What do you do at weekends? What does he/ she do at weekends? 并用I/ He/ She always/usually/often/sometimes …进行应答。

2.理解频率副词always/usually/often/sometimes的用法

3.会使用所学句型和单词谈论周末生活,感受英语的实用性。

4.对比中西方学生的周末生活,感受中西方文化的差异,并学会合理安排自己的周末。

二、教学重难点

1.能听懂,会说,认读,会写句型:What do you do at weekends? What does he/ she do at weekends? 并用I/ He/ She always/usually/often/sometimes …进行应答。

2.学会使用频率副词及动词三单式。

三、教学准备:PPT、学习单

四、教学过程:

Step1: Greetings and warm up

1. Play a game

T: If you see the pictures or the words, say the words or the phrases loudly.If you see a smiling face ,clap your hands.

Ss:...

2. Lets review

T: Look, this woman likes chatting on the Internet.Do you remember in the story time, who usually chats on the Internet,too?

S:Mike.

T:Wow,you have a good memory. So next lets review the story time.

 

Step2: Presentation

1.Guess teacher’s weekend

T: Can you guess what do I do at weekends according to my information?Ss: You usually/often/sometimes/always… because you…

2. Introduce teacher’s weekend

T: This is my weekend. I always…I usually…I often…I sometimes…

Teach the frequency adverbs: always/ usually/often/sometimes

3. Let’s survey

(1)T: You know my weekends very well. Today I want to know your weekends. Who can share your weekends?  Do you want to know your friends’ weekends?

1.Try to ask: Do you always/usually…What do you do at weekends Do you like your weekend? Why?

2. Try to introduce: He’s/She’s …He/She…

4. Let’s learn

(1)T: Today, we have a new friend from the UK. She’s Lucy. What does she do at weekends? Do you have any questions about her weekends?

Ss: What does she do…? Does she…? Does she like…?

(2) Read the activities

T: Here are some activities. Let’s read.

(3) Enjoy her weekends

(4) Fill in the blackboards

 

Step3: Consolidation

1.Let’s compare

T: Find the same points and differences between your weekend and her weekend

Ss: do homework/have lessons/ do much housework/….

2. Let’s say

(1) If you like your weekend, can you introduce your weekend to Lucy?

(2) If you like her weekend, can you introduce her weekend to your friends?

 

Step4:Homework

(1) Talk about your weekend with your friends

(2) Know more about foreign children’s weekend
